What is the WOMBAT Collaboration?


A group of Australian perinatal researchers and practitioners has been awarded an NHMRC (National Health and Medical Research Council) enabling grant to enhance the national health and medical research effort. The WOMBAT collaboration promotes and supports high quality randomised controlled trials in the perinatal area by :
  • Identifying gaps in the research
  • Supporting multicentre trials
  • Providing education and training
WOMBAT activities started in late 2005.
